This PluxX22 conversion board is designed for retrofitting various Roco locomotives, particularly those in the Traxx and Traxx2 families. With the help of this board, older locomotives can be upgraded to the current PluxX22, making it suitable for both digital and analogue model railway enthusiasts. When used in conjunction with LED lighting, analogue model railway enthusiasts benefit from a constant brightness for the front and rear lights. Digital modellers also benefit from the independently switchable rear lights or optional high beam. Furthermore, the outputs can be dimmed to enable high beam and low beam functions. Provided the locomotive is equipped with factory-fitted LED lighting, the system also features an automatic switch-off of the low beam when the high beam is activated.
The circuit board offers the following features:
- The new replacement circuit board supports both models with incandescent bulbs and those with LEDs
- It also supports the use of the long-established foil circuit boards fitted with incandescent bulbs; for this purpose, there are two slots on both sides of the board
- Only models with motor springs can be retrofitted with this. Either the existing ones can be reused, or suitable ones can be purchased here in the shop.
- The board has an extremely flat design, so that the installation space above the board can be utilised to the maximum for decoders
- No mechanical modifications to the model are required for the conversion. Collectors can therefore revert the locomotives to their original state at any time.
