The PluX22 adapter board is specifically designed for the Piko® ICE4 with the series designation 412/812 from Deutsche Bahn AG. This adapter board can be installed in the motor car of both the direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) versions in place of the existing original Piko® board. Its use enables the installation of standardized model train decoders or sound decoders that comply with the PluX22 standard. The PluX22 adapter board has a modular design to flexibly meet the needs of every model train enthusiast and offers a wide range of configuration options.
Among other things, the circuit board features the following characteristics:
- All lighting functions can be controlled separately via AUX outputs
- Prepared for support capacitors or a SuperCab with a capacity of 6800 µF (recommended only for Zimo decoders)
- Integrated relay circuit for current collection from the lead control car
- Relay circuit can be connected either via AUX3+4 or in parallel with the motor
- Can also be configured without a relay circuit to draw power from either a specific control car or even both
- Connection of a servo via a 3-pin connector is possible. A suitable cutout on the PluX22 adapter board allows, for example, the installation of a servo drive to raise and lower a pantograph.
- Due to the many switchable lighting functions, we have optimized the board for ESU LokPilot & LokSound as well as Zimo decoders from the MX & MS series
Important Note:
- Each set always includes two interior lighting sets for control cars.
- Starting with the 6-piece set, 1 Board Bistro (dining car) is automatically included.
Installation Note:
- A PH00 Phillips screwdriver is required
- A total of 24 wires must be re-soldered using a soldering iron
